In February 2024, Tahoma School District proposed two ballot propositions to the local community. As part of a larger community awareness campaign, I was responsible for writing, filming, producing and distributing the main overview video for the two ballot propositions.

I led the design, graphics and copy for this piece, which was mailed to every household in the Tahoma School District boundaires.
"Funding Gap" Poster Series
Local Levies Close Funding Gaps.pdfPart of the community education around local levies included a series I researched, designed and implemented called "Local Levies Close Funding Gaps." The artifact linked above was a printed poster series (11" X 17") displayed at every campus in the Tahoma School District. This design series was remediated in social media posts (Facebook and Instagram), district newsletters and in school publications.
The Budget section of the Tahoma School District website is the culmination of months of planning, research and collaboration to promote the understanding of school finance in the Tahoma School District community. The page features the stages of the annual budgeting process, local funding sources, and financial accountability through state audits.
